We look for work that combines experiment and accessibility. We love the hysterical, obscene, and sincere. We admire the laymen in the enclave. The academic in the oil field. Go somewhere you aren't allowed. Do something you're terrible at.
If you combine genres, no worries, we still want to see it, just submit to whatever category fits best (or worst)!
Translations are always welcome and encouraged. Please have permission from the original author/poet prior. Or check if it is in the public domain.
Poetry: all forms are accepted if they can be reproduced legibly in print with little to no explanation, we even sometimes like stuff that rhymes
Fiction: flash fiction and short stories, although we do accept fiction that is an excerpt of a larger project, it has to stand on it's own two legs.
Non-fiction: this can really take any form, memoir, essay, review, recipe etc. we especially like the ambitious, weird, and declarative.
Any form of non-fictional writing accepted under 3,500 words.
Please submit 1-5 poems of any length.
Short fiction of any length under 3,500 words.
